So based on the R* description above, when players want to play Free Aim where you cannot snap lock or have tracking aim on the target, why on earth would you want to put Free Aim: Assisted control type players into a Free Aim server with those who cannot snap lock aim on a target?Ĭan anybody confirm if this is the case? or do both these targeting options have their own dedicated servers? (ex. Free Aim: For the hardcore, no lock-on whatsoever.Free Aim – Assisted: Snap-lock targeting with a narrower lock-on angle (Sticky Aim in First Person only). The reticule slows down whenever it passes over a target (Sticky Aim in First Person only). Assisted Aim – Partial: Lock-on targeting with a medium lock angle.Assisted Aim – Full: Lock-on targeting with a wide lock angle that allows for target switching (Sticky Aim in First Person only). Why would Free Aim players want to play with Free Aim: Assist players in the same server if the latter has a combat advantage? However, Free Aim: Assisted allows you to target an enemy by snap-locking your aim where that NPC last stood or moved, meaning once you snap locked onto the target, it won't track the target unlike Assisted Aiming. For those who don't know, Free Aim is basically where you cannot auto-aim or snap to a target when you aim your weapon at an enemy.
